Banned but not sure why

You can, it just bans you from online. Full offline mode doesn't go to the net so it can't check to see if they are banned or not. Also banning someone from offline is silly.

I've seen people here suggesting that it is because you just played in a party with someone. We don't ban people for that.

I'm not going to go into the criteria by which we ban people because it gives insight to bad actors looking to evade detection.

I've seen a lot of claims of innocence and so far 100% I've looked into were so crazy obviously guilty. Like hard evidence multiple ways obvious. I don't say this to discourage you but more to give a little insight into the mentality of the audience you are appealing to. Someone who has just had to waste their time investigating someone who knows exactly what they did over and over.

Now, I don't which to suggest that our methods are infallible. I do think this would be our first actual false positive if it is though. So, if you can truly say to yourself that you didn't do any RMT (including paying for boosting), and you didn't use any exploits, I want to encourage you to keep digging. I know first hand it can be frustrating to be banned for something you didn't do. (Yes discord, I can type that fast, no it's not impossible for a human thank you very much)

I'll make a deal with Reddit, I'll investigate claims like these until one fails. So, if you're confident and think you can start a streak, DM me your LE account name or your steam account or steam ID or email even. Basically just anything uniquely identifying that is connected to your LE account and I'll see what I can do for you.

Edit: They have given me permission to share the results when I have them. No promises on speed, we have a lot going on today.

Edit 2: Well that was fast. ChewSahYouSirName has been cleared of all charges and found not-guilty! They have been unbanned. Big apology to ChewSahYouSirName and we have updated our procedure to avoid this from happening again.

I have a feeling that might violate some privacy rules somewhere so I'm probably not going to do that, sorry.

It's against our own code of conduct. Publicly discussing moderation action against an individual can often lead to that individual being harassed.

I'm glad it worked out for you. It's really unfortunate that it happened in the first place.

Not that fast really, I was copy/pasting stuff but because I was alt-tabbing to another document to get different things each time, it looked like I was "typing" but only a bot could possibly do it that fast. It did eventually get sorted actually. Years later I managed to talk to the right person and got my account back.
