725s | thought they were too cute and adorable |

730s | Escape every time but they leave behind |

733s | able to escape so you still get their |

1028s | pattern that a lot of people don't like |
1030s | um so it kind of feels like one of those |
1032s | mandatory and depending on how much you |
1035s | like it or not possibly really unfun |
1037s | mechanics or possibly really fun |
1039s | mechanics personally I love it |
1042s | um but then I find myself like not |
1044s | wanting to use it because it is just so |
1046s | ubiquitous I'm like I want to try |
1047s | something different um so yeah there |
1049s | there's there's some not awesome things |
1051s | that end up happening with Vol reversal |
1053s | in the state that's in right now uh so I |
1055s | think there's a lot of room for it to uh |

1059s | ability um also just becoming a more |
1062s | like ignoring its place in Sentinel at |
1065s | all I think there's probably a lot of |
1067s | room for volatile reveral to to grow as |
1068s | an ability in in just like the base |
1071s | functionality so it is more usable and |
1073s | also just more room for uh things to |
1076s | change in the tree you may notice the |
1077s | tree is pretty empty like it's pretty |
1081s | low node count tree um a CU it's really |
1084s | old and we've kind of had it on the cusp |
1086s | of a rework for so long like um I I |
1089s | remember we we've been like considering |
1091s | reworking it and we' we've been in |
1093s | debates regarding volatile reversal when |
1096s | two other games have released abilities |
1097s | that are very very similar and we're |
1099s | like let's see how this one goes um and |
1102s | then we're like cuz one of the times we |
1105s | actually had changes planned that were |
1106s | extremely similar to one of the other |
1108s | games was coming out with a very similar |
1110s | ability and like we realized that it |
1112s | wasn't working the way we had hoped it |
1114s | was going to work but it was working |
1115s | well in their game and we're like we |
1116s | can't change the other things to make it |
1117s | work in our game the same way we want it |
1118s | to work like this like so we had to |
1119s | scrap that idea it's been a whole |
1121s | journey with with Vol reversal |
1124s | um yeah I I hope I hope we're able to to |
1128s | like really bring it together cuz it's |
1130s | such a it's such a thematically awesome |
1132s | ability for void Knight and having it be |
1136s | such a ubiquitous |
1140s | um uh having to be such ubiquitous part |

1149s | um of the Sentinel ability system itself |

1154s | uh I I think I think it it does a |
1157s | disservice to the to to the void Knight |
1159s | theming with it being so important to |

1209s | new skills I see that it has three plus |
1210s | one Mastery skill compared to Falcon or |
1212s | 4 plus one exclusive skill yeah um we we |

1220s | even um but we do have |

1225s | General General plans to work more on |
1228s | the abilities that are |
1229s | less uh work more on abilities for |
1232s | masters that have fewer |

1244s | say specifically like I I'm not saying |

5078s | the explosion and the shrapnel that come |
5080s | explosion which creates the shra it's |
5081s | actually four parts um |
5085s | and the the explosion got switched out |

5090s | prefab um like the summon wolf prefab so |
5092s | it was like meteor wolf became a like a |
5094s | joke that was sitting around in our like |

5632s | there's almost two Legacy Cycles |

5660s | they're playing on like without without |
5662s | jumping into the new cycle and starting |
5664s | over again CU you can just keep playing |
