Because I feel the longer the game runs the laggier it gets.

Don't quote me on my PC being bad. I have beefy 32GB ram sticks 6750XT GPU and AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D as well as fast raided SSD.

I see streamers who are going for world first having to restart game after 2-4 hours of playtime too, so it must not be a coincidence. Please focus on fixing all the bugs and performance issues now. Gameplay / itemization is really good, I'd really like if team would focus on polishing this gem of a game now.

tl;dr - I love the patch big thanks EGH but it feels bad that performance worsens over time.

Alert! Misquote detected!

Hi, it looks like you're trying to paraphrase me. I'm quite certain that I've never said that performance is not a priority. Performance is a huge priority for us. Every major patch comes with tons of performance improvements.

Maybe I'm just a dinosaur that is happy when I get a game running at a stable 80+. I can stream LE at very high graphics settings on a 3060 and a comparably decent but decidedly not epic cpu.

There are still system configurations that don't play nice and we are still working on those. Generally the game is not gpu locked but rather cpu. We have had some success with locking the fps a little lower than you might expect for very high end systems, which it sounds like you have, improving overall stability.

The vast majority of players have received a significant improvement in stability and performance over the last couple years. I'm sorry that you haven't experienced this.

Just as a reality check please read the other responses in this thread. Unfortunately popular games always have a small but loud cult following that will claim everything is perfect no matter what.

I have read it all. We get the data on this from analytics, feedback and test cases. All of those are showing clear improvements.

Thank you and your team for all the hard work!

Any hopes of a Steam Deck memory leak fix soonish? I love love LOVE this game and the deck is the only platform I have to play on.

Having a hard system crash once /hr is not super fun.

I don't have an ETA sorry. I do know that someone is working on it though.
