I would love it if, with all the negative effects per echo, we had some positive effects thrown in there.

For example:

  • if you complete 5 gold echoes, the 5th one gives you a 3-10x gold return.
  • if you complete 3 (enemies have 200% critical strike chance) echoes you get 1 charge to use a "200% critical strike chance for your character" on a non boss echo.
  • if you complete 3 "enemies slow you down" echoes, you get 1 charge of "haste" to use on an echo of your choosing and it lasts the whole echo.
    • if you complete 5 "unique item" echoes, then the 5th one of that type grants you double the potential rewards or double the chance to find higher quality uniques.

And just little echoes with 40-50 different variations of these "buffs" depending on the negative effects you stacks.

Limit it to 1 buff per echo, or spice things up and make it 3.

So for every 15 echoes runs with negative effects, you can have 1 where you apply 3 buffs and feel like a god.

Would make farming echoes less of a slog and more of a risk/reward/farm/hunt rather than just "do the next and take this penalty "..."do the next and take this penalty ".

It gets tiresome after a while and this would just make things a little more fun and engaging.

What do y'all think?

Cool idea. I’ll share this with the design team.

We do have more large end game updates coming soon and more in development.
