I timed my attacks over 30 seconds an I attacked 70 times. My prediction were 50 hits.

I am quite dumbfounded where the difference comes from.

More details:

I play marksmann and timed my puncture skill with a bow. My bow has a base attack rate of 0.98 and no attack speed affix.

My planner is pretty accurate. The attack speed modifiers I could find were:

25% increased from marksman itself

21% increased from marksman row 1 column 1

~3% increased from arrow storm (i tested 30 seconds so 3 should be fine.)

20% from puncture frenzy

I checked my gear and couldn't find attack speed.

This sums up to 69%, multiplied with 0.98 attack rate i get 1.66 attacks per seconds. This times 30 seconds is 50 attacks.

I also looked at the ingame character sheet and it states that during attacking I have 66% or 75% increased attack speed depending on arrow storm. I tested it and the description is incorrect since it is already multiplied with the base attack rate. Overall this is very close to my calculation, however I counted twice and am 100% sure I didn't somehow count 20 attacks too many. I didn't use any other skill during the test.

Whaaaaaaaat?

I think it is 1 per 0.7s

It's 1 per 0.68s for most abilities. We ended up with that number because we started with 1 per 0.75s, and then fairly early on decided to speed it up by 10%.
