So some of you may have heard about the latest controversy regarding Unity’s charging of game developers using their engines per install - among other things that greatly hurt indie developers who now have to be worried if their game gets popular.

This is concerning considering that iirc Last Epoch is developed on the Unity Engine…What are your thoughts? I hope there’s a great push back from game developers to flip the finger to Unity’s greedy PoS CEO.

While getting a new bill in the mail is never fun, we don't have all the information around this topic yet so we are going to wait and let things settle.

We aren't entertaining the topic of switching engines roughly 3 months before launch.
