[2023] I like Werebear but not sure which way to go

I'm currently leveling my first character in LE and it's a Druid. It's fun but I'm missing something: It's gonna sound weird, but I like it when my attacks look flashy: explosions, earthquakes, fire or lightning or whatnot.

EQ Upheaval sounds fun then right? But all builds seem to require a certain unique staff. Is there any viable EQ Werebear build that doesn't require a unique so I can at least keep playing it until I find it?

Secondly, at some point I'll want to try a completely different class and playstyle. Considering I like flashy effects, which class and mastery should I check out? Can be melee or ranged but preferably not minion based.
