Since Rookie left for the LPL in the Korean exodus years and years ago, he has only played Faker twice in a competitive match.

They have both attended multiple tournaments but they never faced each other apart from 2 games in 2019 MSI Groups.

It's just a complete tragedy. League of Legends Esports has serious issues with lacking international competition.

Can you imagine if we never saw some CSGO legends like Olofmeister, f0rest or Get_Right play against each other? In League of Legends that's sadly quite normal.

Edit:

As /u/dontknow_anything pointed out, there a few games in Rift Rivals that I did not count. I think it's a judgment call how much RR matters, but you can add 2 games here. The result is still a pitiful 4 BO1s.

I mean Deft is HELLA good, but I think Meiko doesn't get enough credit (as a rookie support btw) for how much influence he had in their 2v2.

Also Clearlove ganked bot lane on that team so much I joked that he had opened a luxury resort in bottom lane.

So yeah, Deft looked good on a team that was good and was basically designed for him to perform well on, but that doesn't mean he isn't also an excellent player.
