Can this be the new r/leagueoflegends circlejerk please? It seems like the general consensus is that the planned number of VGU's is just too small. Like, I get that back when they would do 6 or 7 a year it was a bit much, but dropping that down to 1 is a bit of an overcorrection. Especially with that one being decided either on a whim (see Mundo VGU) or by community poll. It'd be nice if we got 2 or 3 as that seems to be a good middle point between updating champs and adding new ones. It just feels like the next couple of years are going to be frustrating otherwise since this year we have the Mundo VGU, then we have the Udyr VGU set for 2022, and then they're probably going to do what they did with Mundo and do that other unrevealed champ for 2023 on a whim, meaning the earliest the other champs on the poll will be getting a VGU is 2024 at the earliest. That last point is a bit of hyperbole, but you get what I'm saying. Look, I don't know that much about game development and I'm sure the folks over at Riot are putting their hearts and souls into these VGUs, the effort has shown in Fiddlesticks and Volibear, but it'd be nice if we could get just a little more than what they've planned for us.
