[2020] Why is Imagine Dragon's Warriors song not included in the League of Legends Official Playlist on Spotify?

Very minor gripe and curiosity. Did a lookup on Google and on this subreddit, found no resources about this.

That song was THE hype song before Legends Never Die and RISE came along, imo, so I wondered why is the track absent from the official Spotify playlist.

Is it perhaps due to some disagreement between the band and Riot?

Edit: thanks for all the replies! yea seems like Riot is not allowed to use the song because do they not own it. Perhaps also many hoops to go through to have the song available for use in Riot events

Because back then worlds song wasnt a thing, and Imagine Dragons came up with the idea of making a song for league.

With warriors riot decided to just make a song every year under their own rights

yup.

we were very lucky to get to work with the dragons, was an awesome experience. but yeah it is, after all, their song.
