[2021] Lillia is unironically one of Riot’s best releases in the past 15 champions. Her kit is simple and unique, yet has deep skill expression without paragraphs of text explaining her spells.

This champ is really great. Her kit doesn’t introduce any dumb new mechanics like Samira’s S rank or Yone dealing all three types of damage with a spammable Zed R.

Despite her basic kit, she also has a lot of room for skill expression. A bad Lillia will never accomplish what a good Lillia will. She never feels overbearing nor like a free win.

It rewards good positioning and knowledge of the game.

Contrast this to juggernauts, who all more or less fulfill the same role on the team and all play the same. (Aatrox is not a juggernaut btw)
