I'll pop in and take this question! I'm Triaged— the Producer for Season 5 of EUphoria, and a Broadcast Producer for the LEC. I hope you don't mind that I'm using the answer to this question as a jumping-off point to discuss some of the other changes in EUphoria this season...
This year brings changes to our talent lineup on the LEC which extend to EUphoria. More information on this is coming out in our Spring 2020 talent announcement releasing soon(tm), so I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities without spoiling information that hasn't been released yet.
In Season 5 of the podcast, Drakos will serve as the series' only regular host. The former "co-host seat” will now feature a rotation of familiar and new faces to the show; it will mostly go to the special guests that we have on our analyst desk on the LEC.
For this weekend on the LEC broadcast, Yamatocannon will be joining us on the analyst desk— and as such we have him joining Drakos on EUphoria for both of this week's releases. Froskurinn also joined us as a guest on today's episode, but will not be in tomorrow's episode, as she had an important visa-related meeting to get to during the afternoon of filming.
This season you can usually expect to see 1-2 "hosts" (Drakos + LEC Talent Guest) alongside 1-2 player guests from the teams of the LEC. (Though, of course, exceptions can occur)
As Drakos teased in his comment earlier, this season is bringing a lot of other changes to EUphoria, as well. Here are a few other things to keep your eyes peeled for:
New set: We're currently building a new recording space in the LEC studios, which will soon become EUphoria's new home.
New sound: The format of the podcast is shifting slightly, which is foreshadowed a bit in today's episode! Introductions, breaks, and episodes typically being limited to one hour in length. Plus: more focus on segments being clearer for those listening to the podcast audio-only (like a podcast!).
New subjects: In planning for the season, Drakos and I are looking at diversifying the content which you may see on the show— we hope to sometimes go beyond competitive coverage and talk to our players and teams about sides of the industry and their lives that you don't normally see.
