[2020] As a low-elo player, I have a confession to make: I don't know what the current meta is and I'm too afraid to ask

In one thread I see people complaining about "instakill assassins every game" and in the next I read that they "went too far with tanks like Maokai and Orn". Also apparently adc is sh*t, but top might be even more sh*t and nobody wants to play jungle and support is always autofilled...I guess mid is still okay to play?

I just see the same champs I have been seeing for the last 3 years and everything works about equally good. I guess the bruisers in toplane are pretty strong, but then again apparently ranged toplaners are freelo so I don't know how that balances out.
