This is a small appreciation post, but whoever made the sound effects for the primary keystones did a REALLY good job at capturing the theme of the respective tree.

Each sound is completely different from keystones found in other trees and while managing to retain tones that are similar to other keystones in the same tree.

The Precision keystones all sound powerful,

The Domination keystones all sound sinister,

The Sorcery keystones all have sound like enchantments,

The Resolve keystones all sound defensive,

The Inspiration keystones all sound manipulative,

It overall makes for a REALLY satisfying experience. A lot of the time, the sounds are so distinguishable that I don't even need to look at the runes someone is running to know what was activated. I just listen to the sound. If I hear a mage hit me with a few attacks followed by the sound of rustling wind, they just activated Phase Rush. If I hear the sound of ice cracking, I've been slowed by Glacial Augment. If I hear a piercing noise during a quick trade, I've been burst by Press the Attack.

Runes as a whole were one of the better additions to the game as a whole, and Riot has done a REALLY good job at reinforcing the theme each one drives home when selecting them.

They need to actually show how that stuff is made. DOOM got a lot of praise because they literally made videos about sound design. The only time I remember RIOT doing that is for Nami's water splashy splashy sounds.

We have quite a few (towards bottom) things from the Audio discipline.

There are more but these are the ones I remember off the top of my head. We often have guest appearances from the Audio folks in Champ Insights articles as well (Aphelios, Lillia, and Kai'Sa I know included them).

The entire discipline is goated. They're my favorite folks to work with because they're wicked humble and talented and are always so excited to talk about their work and explain it to me.

Audio design is so incredibly interesting, I read whatever I can from them.

I really love working with them because I've found their work to be so similar to writing. We use a lot of the same creative processes and sometimes the same words to describe our work, but with different meanings.

Also they're just the best ever ☺️

Holy shit, I've mentally played that sound in my head every time I think about picking Zoe, and I know it's the E sound, but I've never actually made the connection that it plays with her pick quote. /u/Cashmiir you guys are all f**king geniuses

I'm not a sound designer! I just work with them a lot but I will pass along your praise ❤️
