New player, need champ recommendation

So, I dont have a ton of familiarity with LoL outside of Arcane. I usually like playing characters that hit stuff really really good. So far Ive only unlocked Warwick, who seems like he should hit stuff really really good, but maybe I just havent upgraded him enough but he seems far weaker than Jinx. I figured Id unlock Vi, cuz in the show she hits stuff really really good, but I've heard she actually doesnt hit stuff good in the game.

Is Vi or Warwick worth it? Are there any other aggressive, high dps, hit stuff really really good champs I should look for? Who is considered the best hit stuff gooder champ?
