[2022] Show me your best Shuriman Car decks!

After wandering through the vast deserts of Shurima all year I must have gone delirious and imagined a utopia full of fantastical Shuriman cars that I could be using instead. As a Xerath one-trick, I know he talks about leg room in one of his jokes so maybe they existed at one point...

ANYWAYS, to celebrate the new year and atone for my mistake, I want to reward the most creative Shuriman Car enthusiasts.

Show me your best Shuriman Car decks, and I'll pick my top 3 favorites at 4:30PM PT tomorrow, January 6, to reward with 1500 coins and a Fist Bump card back each. I will also only use those 3 decks for the rest of the season, and I'll share results once the season ends. Good luck!

Like searching for a specific grain of sand in the vast Shuriman desert, it was extremely difficult to narrow down my top 3 favorites, but here we go! In no particular order, here are the 3 winners of my favorite Shuriman Car decks:

NoFurtherObligations - I love the worldbuilding here & regional interpretations of cars, extremely creative deck that also looks like a lot of fun to play (even without any supposed “synergy”).

ShadyNarwall - Exceptionally creative acronym and an interesting take on an Akshan/Sivir; though I do not think some of these cards are “cars” the creativity and rationale is :100:

Chimoya2 - Love the detailed interpretation of Azir as a car salesman celebrating the glory days of Shurima, and a great nod to the original cars - horses, chariots, and of course sharks.

Honorable mentions!

There were so many incredible submissions that I couldn't leave with just rewarding 3, so the below will all receive a Fist Bump card back for their contributions; whether for excellent writing, flavor, or just making me laugh way too hard:

-Meej- - Puns on puns on puns, but also managed to stay on topic for the assignment

EspioniIdo - I think I laughed harder at this than any other submission; extremely creative concept.

VasuDeva89 - Love the Xerath environmental sustainability flavor and worldbuilding in this one.

GallowGrim - Another excellent, creative concept around Hecarim & horsepower.

Btrerise - Excellent flavor and tone, great reference to a classic.

FeralRose - Extremely creative interpretation of a “car.”

XodKaniom - Cracked up at the way the deck was put together.

Monkeytender - One of the first submissions, and with some incredible flavor around Ferros Financier.

apiparapuparapapato - Truly kicked off used car salesman voice in the thread in a big way.

TheTapewormKing - Shurima the movie is one of my favorite archetypes, and I’m a big fan of interpreting it as a drive-in experience.

Pasturemaster - Just an excellent pun, gotta appreciate it.

I've got a bit of work to finish up at the moment, but I'll be reaching out to everyone mentioned above to get you your prizes - thanks so much again for making this typo so much fun.
