I see this so often in every single 1v1 game I've ever played.
Friend A: Hey! Play this game with me you'll love it!
They play, Friend A doesn't teach anything, but gleefully smashes Friend B mercilessly.
Friend B obviously has no fun. No one likes losing and losing without knowing what is happening is even more frustrating AND having your friend be so happy they are beating you makes it even more frustrating.
Friend A: Why won't you play the game any more? It's so good!!!

I often wonder just how many players in the world could learn to love CCGs if they didn't have bad friends giving them terrible introductions almost guaranteeing they'll never give the game a real chance.
I thought as much, so I replied nicely no time for negative energy to be honest and it just seems like he wants more people to play the game it’s cool , at the end of the day I know my friend had fun and I’m a good friend , we Gucci ❤️
