Ah yes, then tsukuyomi and gg

Ah, the summer of 2005. Got to run Reasoning Gate Turbo and just wipe that player out with the OTK.

Also I loved that we made these tokens and gave 'em to people for dueling at Comic-Con '06. (Even though the format was long changed by then)

Wait, we? You used to work in Upperdeck/Konami of America?

I appreciated that this was noticed 2 months later. :)

How was work there? How does it relate to working on Runeterra? Is there anything from Yugioh you would like to have something similar to in Runeterra, or anything in Yugioh you'd like Runeterra to avoid?

With the differences in print vs digital, and LoR's fresh approach to not selling packs, what relates most are the general game development skills: player focus, production management, international aspects, etc.

Continue to use the strength of the IP in fun ways, the ability to have memorable got'ya/mastermind moments while playing, and continue to explore how we strengthen and buildup a playing community.

What we avoid are a lot of the things we wanted to improve about TCGs in general - regular balance updates, avoidance of costly price-to-entry on a good deck, not designing a bunch of filler cards that don't have a home in a deck.
