[2022] Deleting threads about lies with skin availability

I do not believe this thread was removed due to the topic, but it likely broke other forum rules.

First and foremost, files that are datamined from the game are not necessarily 100% ready for release, and this should not be expectation surrounding datamining for… any game, really. There is no delay of skin releases due to censorship. We were told that skins are releasing at a slow rate because they are not available for all newer classes and time is needed to rig them, including Sorceress, Striker, and Gunslinger. This would leave a number of players out of being able to purchase skins for their classes.

With that context in mind, any feedback you have that directly pertains to the explained situation about the current cadence that I can share will be extremely helpful.

I understand that some players feel distrustful of this, but this is the explanation we have received in regards to newer classes and the limited skins that are available. I don’t meant to negate or argue with any player feelings, but help me help you – “this is a lie” is an okay feeling to have, but it is not constructive feedback that I can share with the team to action against.

What is much more beneficial to share with the team is players’ continued feedback about the situation now that they have the added context of the explanation. Even though the answer is still that players want more skins (trust me, I am well aware) being able to articulate that in conversation with the reasoning provided is extremely valuable, because it is a direct response to the situation that the team can see.
