We did announce a planned date to share a roadmap but that has since changed. Which, understandably has been frustrating. So you can understand why we aren’t going to communicate new target dates for a roadmap until we have every detail locked and we have a very high level of confidence.

It isn’t that we want to “cover our butts” but just be accurate and detailed in the information we share so folks have the right expectations. People look at roadmaps like promises from their mom on Christmas morning and less like a plan going into a fluid development environment where we listen to feedback and review data and make changes.
We are working with Smilegate RPG to lock a roadmap for the near future and will share it as soon as possible. We do know this info is a top priority for many of our players and we’re earnestly working to share it as soon as we can.

They aren’t run by the same studio, but also you have to consider the amount of time it went into locking and sharing that post, which is what we are doing.

We understand everyone wants the roadmap yesterday. We have tried to be open that we made mistakes in the original version of the roadmap that was locked prior to launch and we’re working with our developers to rework the roadmap to be better for this region’s players. That is a good thing. I understand it isn’t happening as quickly as we want but the long term outcome will be much better.

I am sorry this feels copy paste, unfortunately we don’t have new information to share but are expected to provide responses. The team is working to finalize and communicate the roadmap. It is urgent work. It won’t be shared tomorrow, we will share it as soon as we possibly can.

Its a difficult situation, we learned a lot from launch, we’re working with our developers at Smilegate RPG to identify the future that is right for this versions of Lost Ark and the way it is being played by our player base. These decisions are taking more time than anyone would like but we want to arrive at the best decisions possible for everyone.

This is a big challenge, for folks who were playing Lost Ark in other regions they want a 4 year old version of the game today. We’re working with the devs to figure out the right sequence to introduce content, features, and classes without creating new problems and pain points. Smarter folks than me are figuring it out and we’ll share details as soon as we possibly can.

My understanding is that many of those skins are not prepared for all the current classes in the game, in particular classes that have been added globally most recently, so cannot be implemented until they are rigged for all currently available class models.
