I agree it is not an ideal wait, and I apologize. There are still puzzle pieces moving in the background that we are working around in the meantime, but we want to make sure we do it right instead of do it quickly

I know that people are frustrated with getting a similar answer about the roadmap being worked on, but in being as transparent as possible that is exactly where we’re at; we are still working on it. Content is shifting as we determine what players will be ready for and when, and look at how things may affect future pacing and changes. When we lock it in, it will be shared.
This is specifically a “content roadmap” for players, and we will share the content pieces in this one space. When it comes to issues/bugs, those happen in real time and are updated along the way, and shouldn’t be expected to be in the content roadmap.
Ah, then no. Raids/classes/etc are part of this, but it will be shared together instead of fragmenting the roadmap
It will likely still be a short look of roughly the same length, we are looking at ~2 months. I think with the amount of time it has taken for us to lock this one, that well illustrates why we want to be careful looking too far ahead
The thing is, if we share a longer term plan, and it ultimately shifts, there will be backlash. Even if we are transparent in saying “this might change,” people will lock in their expectations and when it does it will become an issue. We are thinking longer term now, but even internally between teams we expect these things to change in the future and haven’t locked them in yet as we continue to move ahead, make changes, and learn. Since we don’t have our plans locked on the inside, it’s not a great idea to share them on the outside and set any inappropriate expectations
If that was the case, I would share that. We are still planning for it.
We care – I think it’s pretty clear to see that my days will be significantly better once we can share it and I have a substantial update to give
Not totally true – while there is back and forth and it takes time due to various teams and timezones involvement, I am a part of Amazon Games, not a separate entity, and I do have a direct line with some of the folks we work with at SGR. The teams work together much more frequently and closely than people seem to realize.
If I was a bot it would make my job a hell of a lot easier
