[2022] Much like last night, there is zero notification in game of the impending server restart on NAE

Agreed, we’ll be working on improving the communication more each time.

We restart the region in 15 minutes with little to no heads up… everyone is mad, they ask for more time in a heads up.

We restart the region in 1 hour with plenty of heads up and messaging in game… everyone is mad, and ask for it to be instant.

Okay.

And I do understand that, that asking for a heads up is usually to prevent the loss of being kicked out of an instance. But there is still other content, other things going on that players are intent on finishing.

The team is also fine tuning their communication when it comes to things like this, so while we keep this in mind, I realize we’ll never make everyone happy.

Alright, I believe this conversation has run its course. I’m glad that messaging and communication got out with plenty of time and a bit smoother then it did last night. I’ll be meeting with the team Monday so we can continue to fine tune our reaction to different situations. Thank you everyone for the help!
