[2021] If I buy the skin from the skin shop, do I skip the objective and can go for the tier 7's?

You need to have purchased the skin before the event starts to get the objective marked as completed.

The same as you need the Crusaders recruited before the event starts, if you want the recruit objectives marked as completed.

Buying it now will not mark it as completed.
