Welcome Crusaders!

Before we begin: I hope you're all staying safe and being kind.

For those of you who are joining us for the first time, I'm Erika, the Live Services Manager for Crusaders of the Lost Idols, and I will do my best to answer your Crusaders questions. This Q&A is so you know where to find one of the team to chat Crusaders weekly.

I will be answering questions live for the first hour and then checking back throughout the week.

One more day to submit your Pumpkin colouring sheets! It's close to unlocking the idol buff from all the spooky entries so far!

Updates:

The Tier 7 version of Emo's New Moon will begin later today, Thursday, October 28th, 2021, featuring Xochitl, La Llorona who occupies seat 24.
Inspired by Halloween, we're also releasing some spooky taskmaster DLC: a creepy doll, and a fun jack-o-lantern. The launch discount to celebrate their release will last for a week.
The recipes for the Carnival of Sorrows crusaders will be available after Noon Pacific Time (UTC-7) on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.
The Tier 7 version of Kaines' Dinner of Doom will begin around Thursday, November 18th, 2021.
In case you missed it, we're doing Q&A streams for Crusaders on the CNE Games twitch channel now! VODs are available on Twitch while they last and we also post the stream to our Codename youtube playlist.

End of Life for Flash in Browsers

Crusaders is available to play through the version on Steam, and through a downloadable launcher on our Codename Games website.

Note: The launcher will work with Wine to run the .exe on Linux. Otherwise, you can try using the Steam version.

Please put in a support ticket if you've found a bug with the game. You can submit a ticket using the "Contact Support" button from the Guidebook/Support menu in the game. It will open a new window or a new tab in your browser and you do need to have cookies enabled.

Have a treat! CRAM-GOOF-ALIT-DIAL awards 2 All Tier Halloween Jeweled chests. If you want them to have a chance to contain gear for Xochitl, La Llorona, then wait to open them until after you've recruited her. Expires Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at 9:59 AM Pacific Time (UTC-7.)

Depending on how long you take to complete event objectives, you can spend your idol buff first and then tackle the event.

The Arcane Geode weekly mission unlocks after you've opened 10 Runic chests. And then it just spawns when its cooldown is over once you start sending it out.

But I'll add the request for the stat to our list. It would be a fun one to see.

We do have a plan for tackling opening chests quicker and it is on the update schedule. So you can choose if you want to hang onto your chests until the update releases, or keep opening them.

After chatting about it, and knowing that players have been playing with the level 100 carrot in mind, we aren't going to be moving any of the rewards.

When insta killing, loading formation is very hard to get key pressed at time needed. Have to repeat very fast and most of time it does not load.. Also it is impossible to save formation with out turning off auto. Is there a way to improve these functions?

Sorry about that. The new taskmasters DLC should be working now for Steam purchases if you reload the game.

theyre working on more but these are the ones that are finished cutting and gluing and coloring in time to turn in before tomorrows deadline, i'll probably have a few more to turn in next week, not a lot of time to work on school nights...

Edit! Also the chests are giving the wrong ones. "Uniform Jeweled Chest"

The launch discount is 10%, and should be showing if you reload the game.

The Tier 7 event chests were fixed last night, but if anyone did end up with Uniform chests, they can put in a ticket and we'll get that swapped to the correct chest.

You could do 'Aliens and Angels' descending from the heavens.

Aliens starring in a challenge is a request that has come up before. I was planning on not adding new challenges until I had the challenge update more designed, but it might be worth breaking that out.
