can the reward for the last mission of the events be changed back to a crusader skin? A level 7 rune is a nice thing, but new skins added so much new possibilites for challenges. Of course the creation of new skins is a time consuming process for Kat, but I hope there is some way to get at least a few more than the last months...

That's not a change we would do mid-way through the event cycle, but we'll keep it in mind for tier 8 events.

We did want to restart the stream this past Tuesday but Kat was unavailable. We should be able to do a stream on the 18th though.
We'll be changing the Playing Old School formation for season 6, and trying to make Sprint not the best way to earn points. Also, changing the dialog, so the bonus levels past level 25 don't make players stressed about so many levels of rewards to complete.
Trying to have the break as short as possible. I'll know more once Wilson starts on the changes to the dialog.
The chest opening thing is on the deck for this quarter after Carnage Cup and season 6.

I've been playing for almost a year, started back in April for the alien invasion. I'm starting to wonder what is the point to get huge dps numbers if the sprint meta is so efficient. FP is easilly capped and in dungeon, there is no big rewarding reason to push to your limit. Is there anything in your design philosophy that will address it or should I consider the game "won" at this point?
For a Crusader that doesn't have a skin yet, which skin would you like to see as a reward from season 6 of the Dungeons?

Just making the best possible formation with all the Flora Crusaders available to you.
If you're really struggling, then looking at changing around Runes and Legendary gear, and maybe a couple of idol farms to get some other Talents purchased.
There’s a bug atm where a dungeon starts at a random level, a few people and myself have been saying about it on the discord, starting a level 4 and it changes itself to level 1 or 2

Read moreHi Erika, just a comment. The new crusader is really neat and I like the new signature mechanic to get mats directly, skipping the whole chest process.
There might be ways to use it to generate a bit more mats than you had initially anticipated, or maybe it is intended, hard to tell. Either way, I'd encourage you to really think about it before you adjust or"nerf" it, as it would inevitably be called. We've looked at the numbers, and while it definitely speeds up mat generation a lot, it really isn't broken in any sense.
Since Legendaries scale to level 20, the numbers look like if a player was able to 24/7 the game in sprint only with a "max mat generation" formation, they could generate enough mats for a single L20 in about 3 months (6 months if they only play a "more reasonable" 12 hours a day). Given the game has room for 350+ Legendary pieces of gear, and growing, getting one maxed out every 3 to 6 months is not actually a big deal....

I think we're OK with the numbers from Springy, as legendary items do cost a lot to get those last few levels, and the number of legendary items will keep growing as we continue to add Crusaders.
If players want to grind that hard for materials, that's up to them, and who knows, it may be the case where it ends up being the decision between materials and idols, we'll see how it shakes out.

That must have been a cruel interwebs rumour, though that does sound like a more fun April Fool's joke than Squiggles everything....like having monsters or Crusaders randomly be cookies....hmm....
Thank you for the chests as always. Have a Merry Christmas! Hoping there are more options with rubies. Such things as idol buffs, golden epics, etc. Right now for moderate level to experienced level players, there isn't an option (other than weekly runic chests) for rubies. The ruby to jeweled chest ratio is not beneficial.
