Hi guys, i didn't buy this game before cause there was no online multiplayer.
Now i see there is online multiplayer on the store page. Does it work well?
Thanks! And have fun!

Hi haagen :)

Yes, we have online multiplayer now. It's been in closed beta for a while and we just opened it up to the public yesterday! We are still growing the player base so you'll need to invite friends to play with you OR we have an active discord with more people in it that will be interested in playing with you as well. And yes, it works quite well. We played a bunch of games last night without issue.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi haagen! That is correct. Once we have a larger community and anonymous matchmaking, I can reach back out to you and let you know! Sounds like it's too early in development for you to take the plunge just yet. Thanks for checking first!

Hey Haagen! Sorry to hear you're having issues -- do you perhaps have a firewall or something blocking the connection to our matchmaking server? We've had another community member have this issue. EDIT: See my responses below.

I'm going to set up a domain name for our matchmaker now too, so hopefully that will just straight up fix the problem if you can't whitelist. I'll keep you posted (for real this time).

Alright, I just pushed a patch that has it pointing at matchmaker.magequit.com instead of the raw IP address. That MIGHT fix your firewall issue on its own. If not, you can try whitelisting that URL. Keep me posted!

The other time we've run into this, it's been due to parental controls on the player's router. Do you have anything unusual going on with your router that would maybe block certain sites or certain ports (8080 in this case)? If you don't know the answer to that or how to figure it out, I can try updating the matchmaker's port to 80 (standard for web traffic) and see if that helps. Let me know!
