TL;DR Each time you make a decision with a click during the resolution of a spell (such as Tainted Pact), it doesn't reset the rope/timer. So even though I have a large chess clock timer, it's not possible to resolve Tainted Pact optimally because the game will end your turn thinking you're afk before its possible to do so.

The release of Strixhaven + Mystical Archive has unleashed some insane power into the world of Historic Magic on Arena and I'm loving it for now.
I'm playing the coolest companion to exist, the Elemental Otter Lutri. It's exciting to finally be able to play with the card and not feel like I'm losing.
The TL;DR of the deck is a highlander tainted pact deck that uses an essential 1 card combo of Lutri and Pact to tutor for one card (Thassa's Oracle) while also exiling the rest of the deck so you can win.
The rest of the deck is a control deck, and I love this control/combo style of play. Unfortunately, Tainted Pact has a weird way of resolving in which each time you make a choice to either keep the card you've exiled off the top or dig deeper, the game just thinks you're wasting time/are afk. This means if you deck has like 40+ cards in library you would have to click decline 40+ times 1 by 1, until you've exiled your deck. This isn't possible because the rope will burn and end your turn which is very frustrating.

How can we change it so that while youre making decline/accept decisions (not during the time you're pondering to click decline or accept but every time you actually DO click) the rope doesn't burn?

We’re aware and working on a fix here. No timeline or eta yet, but it’s something we want to solve.
