Will Jumsptart cards be craftable?
Yes—except for the basic lands. Those can only be earned through playing in the event at this time. All non-basic land cards can be crafted using Wildcards of the appropriate rarity.
Players will be able to craft Jumpstart cards for use in Constructed play after the event ends.


Note the last mention. Anyone who wants to play some certain JMP card in the Historic Arena open cannot craft it because the event is still actibe then - must get lucky with the themed deck pulls.

No, you'll be able to craft them starting tomorrow. That was a call out to the cards still being available to acquire after the event ends. Sorry it wasn't more clear, I'll look into having it clarified in the article.
