Unfortunately performance issues are not an quick or easy fix. It could be due to many, many reasons. Anything from your local ISP to your computer hardware to numerous things on our end. Every case is different (unless they aren't).

How can we get this figured out, you ask? Giving us a detailed report on our bug forums, with logs! This helps us look deeper into an issue and possibly establish patterns. If quite a few cases are the same, we can go "oh here's the issue" and start making a fix. We can't do this though without your help, though. Posting "my game crashed fix it" doesn't help us but those detailed game logs do!

I get that it's super frustrating, and I'm sorry that you're experiencing issues. I wish I could snap my fingers and fix it, but alas, that isn't possible. :disappointed:

Hi, Lexie, good to hear you.
There´s a common issue related with intel i3/i5/i7 2XXX series with integrated HD 2000/3000 GPU. This also happened some months ago (and was solved) and seems to be happening again. I don´t know if there is other configurations involved, but this for sure is suffering the unity issue and it´s well known.
Maybe it is imposible to fix, because of course they are near 10 years old computers, or maybe not, but at least we should know.

First let me thank you for always or at least mostly answering things people ask and not really being rude while doing so Lexie...I for one appreciate it. For the last week or so (around Ikoria release) I have constantly experienced the "updating" bug and it has really started to put me off even trying to log into the game....even getting disconnected from Ranked matches lately so dropping ranks puts even less incentive to log in.....beyond the oppressive blue meta but that's a different topic. I still love the game even with the complaints I have with it so it sucks when I am forced to not play at all and that usually makes me just uninstall games with those issues and come back later in the future if at all before playing again. Hopefully this issue gets fixed soon. Also before others chime in with "it's on your end" no it certainly is not. With my specks and connection speed this game runs like hot butter in a skillet.....when the game is working normally that is. :P

Might fix your dwindling player numbers too btw.

Could you by chance tell me how I can submit a game log when I can't even log into the game in it's current state? All I can do is try dozens of times until it lets me log in and at this point I have over a dozen other games I'd rather go play then do that. No offense and not trying to be rude. All I can tell you is that judging by other comments and my personal experience it has something to do with the last patch. I will try to log in a few times a day and that's pretty much it. If you can give me a detailed way of how to get the data you need without being actually logged in I will gladly do it for you though.

If you already have game logs enabled, no need to log in! Here is a guide on how to get them.

First: Thank You for answering, sometimes we players thought you as "in your side" didn´t care about us, but you just have proof that it´s not true. Second: I already do it, but i´ll submit every log sinse the update, i hope that helps. Thanks again.

We definitely care! We are all Magic players here. Unfortunately I don't always have a fix for players, or news, but as soon as I get it I try to share. I'm always here lurking even if I'm not replying to the latest "ban X card" post. :laughing:
