@ajBads#03877:

I have an issue regarding "FNM at HOME" event. I cannot find LGS near me to claim codes for card sleeves due to I am only playing MTG Arena and not paper cards. Kindly help players like me to claim codes by alternative way (e.i. emails).

Keep reaching out to local game stores! I would bet that one within a few hours of your home is participating, though it may not be one in your immediate city. :slightly_smiling_face:

It is 2nd week of FNM event in MTG Arena but still no luck for LGS who give codes for card sleeves.

Then call larger stores in the nearest major city. A lot of stores are participating, so I bet you could find another.

Just seen this.

Lexie, most of the UAE stores ( never mind the LGS sector ) are closed by Government Order now, and have been closed "under advice" for about two weeks. Finding an active store will be nigh on Impossible for AjBads.

I have a close friend out there who is considered Key Infrastructure, he's literally only allowed to travel outside the house when actually working. Store owners apart from food, pharmacy, and essential supplies are now officially barred from opening rather than advised.

This is not the US or a similar country still not bothering to officially lockdown, and your suggestion of "Call larger stores in the nearest major city" is no use as there is no suitable "Major City" where he/she would have found a suitable store.

Actually to be fair, Dubai is the Major City. After all it's only got something like 3 and a half million people in it, and as a Scotsman that's more than half the population of my country. ;)

What I'm saying is that some stores are still active on social media (and some via phone). They cannot be IN store, but they can receive a screenshot via Facebook or email and send a code. So if you lived in Washington (a US state under lockdown) for example, you contact a local game store like Card Kingdom via social media. They're a larger game store in the city of Seattle.

Unfortunately I didn't scroll up, and thought I was replying to the other FNM thread, so I didn't see the region/Dubai posts. Because of the region that they are in, they won't be able to get these sleeves. It sounds like that region has something fun planned for later on, though!

No worries, that explains a lot...

We're all a bit frazzled just now, and aye most of the countries have wildly different strictures in place just now.

I did however have a chuckle at the whole "Call stores in your nearest large city" comment when trying to apply it to Dubai, as it's over five times the size of New York. :joy:

Yeah, that's what I get for not scrolling up haha.
