I doubt the version matters, as both cards play identically. The only question that matters is whether you can get more than 4 wildcards.
I crafted two of each, but am now second guessing myself. If this is available in flashback drafts or I for some reason decide to buy and open a pack from one of those sets, I’m not duplicate protected yet and could get a fifth copy instead of gems. But it’s not worth the risk to me to try and spend 4 more wildcards if I might not get them back.
You are dupe-protected. Since WOE, duplicate protection has worked by title, not the specific printing.

Does that work for less than 4 of any specific printing? I have 1 Botanical Sanctum from Thunder Junction and 3 from Aether Revolt.
Yes, the rule is "If you have 4 cards with Title_X, you will not get any more cards of Title_X (until you have collected all other cards of that rarity from that pack)"
So.. I only got one, and I had 3 from Ikoria and 1 from MUL. Do i have to submit a ticket?
This sounds like a bug, and you're not the only one reporting it. We are investigating
It looks like Jegantha is only refunding WCs for the MUL version - I have 1 IKO and 3 MULs and only got three wild cards. Other people on discord are reporting numbers consistent with this.
