The team is excited to announce an enhanced visual experience rolling out over the coming months. We’ve been working on increasing the frame-rate for devices that have advanced GPU’s and screens that support high refresh rates, especially 120Hz. We are introducing this feature for a limited number of high-end devices to test the functionality. Some of the currently supported devices include:

  • Apple iPhone 12 & 13
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 & S21
  • Google Pixel 5 & 6

For these devices, you can go to the Advanced Options and toggle, "Enable Higher Rendering Mode(60fps)”. NOTE: this feature will deplete your device’s battery faster when enabled, so we advise monitoring your battery levels when testing it.

The team will be monitoring the feature in the coming weeks and months and we are interested in hearing your feedback. Our hope is to eventually make this feature more widely available to additional devices in the future.

Add 2018 iPad Pro please!!! It can run RAID at 120fps just fine.

I’d even settle for 60 fps.

We definitely want to support as many devices as possible and I'll keep following up with the team to add more to the list in the near future.

It works on Asus ROG Phone 5 too.
Though if I have my Bluestacks set up as Galaxy S20 it doesn't show up.

Devices are screened by their GPU, so it's likely that Bluestacks isn't sharing the proper information to be whitelisted. I will discuss Bluestacks support with the team in January.

13 Pro Max. no option for me.

Edit: My brother owns the 13 pro and it works for him so it seems to only be the 13 pro max version thats effected.

I'm told that we found the problem with the 13 Max and it should work now.
