About the latest java snapshot. We tried to get almost all worldgen changes from the experimental snapshots into there. But some of the underlying tech changed along the way, so it was tricky and we may have missed some things. Help us, use the bug tracker.

We’ve now shipped Bedrock beta 1.17.40.2, which should include most of the worldgen changes from the java experimental snapshot series! We’re working hard to get java & bedrock worldgen as close to parity as possible. https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-beta-1-17-40-20

@_Devu__ If the groves are empty of trees then yes that’s definitely a bug :)
