@tha_rami Reminds me of what some say after a Minecraft update reveal. They'll argue that because modders can recreate what is shown in a few days, that they're faster than us original developers. Being a modder before and now a dev, it's alarming how much people accept this as truth.

@tha_rami Recreating something that is already designed is the easy part. Getting to that point - the actual design, the brainstorming, the prototyping and eventual iterations: that's the hard part. The amount of designs that have been thrown out before the final reveal is immense.

@tha_rami I think it's a bit of a testimony to how much people undervalue design/creative work in general, whether it's set design on a show, writing, or what have you. The end product is all that is tangible to some people, it feels.
