Trims on leather armor, ability for armor to have trims with same material on them, equip swapping parity, etc.
Not mentioned, but enchantment glint has been reworked again to be made different. Looking for feedback on it!

Now that they use separate color palettes, you can nicely see a diamond trim on a diamond piece of armor, or iron on iron, netherite on netherite, etc.
Not explained in the changelog, but material on material trims (IE Diamond Trim on Diamond Chestplate) use different color palettes so they contrast better with their native material.
The reason we didn't have this feature to begin with is because the trims were almost invisible http://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fn5HRQTXwAALBMC.jpg
I would really encourage players to try testing the armor trim feature in survival and report back on how difficult or easy it is to find all templates. I've seen a few speed runs on the previous snapshot, but would love to get a feel for the new rates.
@Derkren I kinda disagree. Jungle Temples have a 33.3% chance of getting 2 Smithing Templates per chest. There's definitely more ability to have more basic trims early game now.
