We missed a change in recent changelogs for the Bedrock beta that you may like - we have now made a parity fix that makes shields get disabled for 5 seconds when attacked by an Axe-wielding mob or player. Of course part of this is just bringing combat closer to parity between the platforms, but it was also because the Warden utilized this functionality with its hits so it felt a good time to bring that to parity
@Union_Keyblade @Prowl8413 Unfortunately it's difficult to balance combat in Bedrock right now knowing that we'll be bringing parity to it in a way that provides balance naturally. I only see this being a problem in PvP but nothing that will destroy people's experience
@Prowl8413 @Union_Keyblade Yep definitely combat in general is very different, but we will absolutely focus on revamping both platforms when we have the capacity and feel it's the right time. For now, Wild Update is our focus and it's nice to get small wins like this in the mean time!
