How do we all feel about the Warden's digging animation to despawn? I love the little kicking legs at the end

@rljancias I mean just absolutely, completely untrue. I don't know how many times I have to dish out this statement but I was a modder for 10 years for Minecraft, and I'd say if anything I work harder and put out more focused quality now than I ever did as a modder.

@henrybadger19 A huge portion of that count does not work on vanilla. We have other games like Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends. Vanilla doesn't have as many developers as you might think.

@Parterrip @rljancias This isn't even part of the reason things take longer working on the game than modding. The biggest difference is we have literally dozens of platforms (and two different engines) which run on so many different devices. It's just much more work to get things working everywhere.

Always remember for the people who say "Mojang has X amount of employees why does Y take so long", a much smaller percentage of that employee count is working directly on development of vanilla updates. We have large teams on games like Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends.

@Ravager50 I mean working on a whole new game versus updating an existing game requires much more workforce. Pretty simple I'd think.

@Forstride twitter and social media thrives on negativity. It's not enough to say "wow look how cool this mod is" and get 4k likes. It always has to be drama. Love Biomes O' Plenty, thank you for continuing to make awesome content

@DJCwittz @Parterrip @rljancias The fact that we have separate developers for each platform is exactly part of what slows development down. It can be slow to redo the same content twice on different engines.

@Forstride There's something to be said with the ever-shifting landscape that is the gaming industry and content consumption in general. People are becoming more entitled to instant gratification - the platforms which we rely on are built on gamification and dopamine hits.

@Forstride I can see it in myself and how even something as simple as Youtube warps me. Nothing ever feels "enough" anymore. I think this is what I've noticed spreading to some fandoms in general.
