@Daley_Kong It's always so hard to do these. For me it has to be Warcraft 3 for how it introduced me into the concept of designing levels and even entire game-changing mods without code, and Minecraft for plunging me into coding. @Daley_Kong I so badly want to create games that challenge your world view and give you experiences that are just otherwise impossible in the medium of film. I think that while SOMA, like any narrative game, could be a film - this one has so much intrinsically riding on it being first person

@Daley_Kong It's weird that I fanboy so much over that game, but something so fundamental struck a chord with me. It's that moment, that experience, that drives me to still be a game developer today despite how difficult and challenging it can be to improve, learn and grow.

@Daley_Kong While it's not a hard truth, many games above made me realize that designing in games can often be so much more about defining and immersing you in an experience than it is about developing mechanics. Mechanics are tools that serve to help build that experience, or dampen it.

For those wondering, there is no snapshot today. Java has a different schedule to Bedrock, which is why we're able to put the Frog into a Beta. It's still unknown when 1.19 snapshots will start.

That's how it is in real life! Some green frogs tend to be in colder regions, and white frogs in much more hot/warm areas (like deserts and jungles) so that they can regulate their temperature better :) https://twitter.com/Frostthefox4/status/1471203358476222468

For the record, this is of course generalization and there are plenty of green frogs in real swamps, but we wanted to highlight some species of green frogs which you can find in colder climates.

@neomeh83 yeah it's hard when it's meant to cover a variety of temperatures and biomes, we can only add so many variants :)
