For those who haven't had a chance to test the new Reinfected Ground war, avoid it for the time being. IW, with their great intelligence in designing game modes, has created a monstrosity this time around.
Reinfected Ground war introduces infected to (probably) all ground war maps (I've only had the chance to play on Port, Zhakov, and Karst). While normally this seems fine, especially considering infected can use a special tac insert to allow them to respawn in the air to parachute down, IW forgot one thing in their moment of brilliance. Kill streaks are enabled. You've read this right.
Whatever kill streaks that you have selected will be able to be used in Reinfected Ground war. So far, this has caused a multitude of chopper gunners and gunships in the air, IAVs running over all infected, and multiple seemingly invincible Juggernauts gunning people down with infinite ammo. I am unsure if nukes are enabled, but considering regular kill streaks are, it's a safe bet to say that it is.
For somebody who is unlucky enough to become infected, your only option is to leave because the survivors will no doubt be using kill streaks to prevent a loss. If you're a survivor, this is an excellent chance to get kill streak challenges done because it's very easy to get a Juggernaut, much less an IAV, due to how many great camping spots there are on ground war maps. I'd suggest to hurry to get in though. IW will no doubt patch this first chance they will get.
Update: The infected can pick up the minigun from the Juggernaut as well
Update 2: After playing it for longer, I've noticed that everybody has the same set of kill streaks (Precision airstrike, Sentry Gun, and Juggernaut), and care packages fall from the sky (This is how you can get VTOLs, Gunships, etc), as well as IAVs. This basically means kill streaks were intended from the start. I Apologize to any who thought I came off as rather disapproving. I just found it hilariously broken (it still is) and thought it was an oversight at first.
