It's really annoying because I want to watch CDL and win a beta key and the knife skin but I literally can't because the app just completely freezes up and goes to the main splash screen. I feel like I'm the only one who has these kinds issues literally every time CoD has an event. Guess it's time to preorder lol. Anyone else have issues like this? Surely I can't be the only one.

We experienced a very high level of traffic during the CDL champs games which led to some unexpected issues in the app. We have since added fixes which will prevent these issues during future events. We will also be distributing the progression rewards and the bonus knife reward to users who had any viewing time during the event on Sunday. I don't see how they're gonna hand out 10,000 beta codes when the app seems to be broken on a lot of participant's phones lol. Maybe they'll give us another chance to win. Probably not but maybe.
Hi. We made another post in response to your main post above but I wanted to clarify with an additional response on this comment too. The randomized drops (including the beta codes and the champs pack) were eligible to anyone who watched for any amount of time during the day associated with the corresponding drop (Saturday for the champs pack & Sunday for the beta codes). If you received a randomized drop while viewing a stream you would see a notification on either the Companion App or CDL website. If you didn't see a notification but still happened to be selected as part of the people who received a randomized drop you will still get an email in the following days with more information about your randomized reward.
