[2019] Spawnblocking

So this evening, I was doing some frontline in Camp. I was having fun untill some "friendly" engineers decided it would be a funny idea to drop some spikes in front of spawn and throw smokebombs on it. Almost the entire wave of blues got impaled except me. I tried to destroy te spikes after which the blue engineer tried to teamkill me. I blocked most of it because maybe he was mistaken, but he wasn't and kept hitting me. I just let him tk me and thought I will votekick hin right after. But in the death screen I saw he was working together with another blue engi doing this sh*t. They instantly spammed chat that I was teamkilling and votekicked me right off. The people in blue team oblivious to their trickery. I see this more often lately. I wouldnt even be that mad if it was the enemy team but this is just griefing right? Anyone else see this more often lately? Is there any word of the devs for fixing this yet? I guess the problem is that the spikes dont register kills like normal or something.
