Unfortunately, because different folks will be in different waves and the invite and download times are different for each group this is not as straight forward to communicate as we'd like. Starting 8/26, subsequent invite waves will receive their invitation emails and immediately be able to download, install, and play as outlined in the chart we provided.

✅On 8/21, all Wave 1 invitees will be able to pre-download and install the "New World Preview" game client on Steam.
✅HOWEVER, you will not be able to begin playing New World until the Preview begins on 8/25.

If you belong to Wave 1 the following applies:
✅On 8/21, you will receive an invite email with a Steam code that will add "New World Preview" to your Game Library.
✅If you Pre-order through Steam, on 8/21 "New World Preview" will auto appear in your Game Library.
@Hypno_Crab The Preview event will be taking place on a new Steam client, "New World Preview" which we will be granting access to. We are revoking access to the now deprecated client.
@SenelBerke If you have "New World Confidential Test" in your Steam Game Library that is the old client, which we will be revoking access to in the next 25-48 hours. The Preview event will require the "New World Preview" client we invited folks will receive.
