I know it’s just a start, but here are some changes that hit the PTR, and for reference these weren’t made yesterday! Changes take time and testing before they even go to the PTR, so we have been not only hearing your feedback, but playing as all builds ourselves, so we understand.

  • Increase the damage of the “Smolder” damage over time effect applied by Flamethrower ability, and the Singe and Watch it Burn passives from 6% to 10%
  • Increase base damage of the Fire staff weapon by 3.5%

Combat is every evolving and we’ll continuing fine tuning. :saluting_face:

If there are any bugs we’re not aware of, let us know, but most of if not all the bugs are en route to be fixed quickly or already fixed in PTR!

  • Ultimate Chill no longer weakens targets, now only increases damage for the player that owns the upgrade vs chilled targets.

Also, the tooltip for Ice Gauntlet’s ability Ultimate Chill does not state that it will not persist post weapon swap and we are considering ways to make that clearer since this leads to players believing that it isn’t working if they swap to another weapon with an Ice Conversion gem in it, or swapping then swapping back to the Ice Gauntlet. :saluting_face:

We are trying to nail down the Ice Storm issue and fix it. I’ve run into it too and know how frustrating it can be!
