There is currently no Official New World Discord, but there are several popular community-run Discords that you can check out.
@AideyaHaesch This should be a new Client, so you will need to redownload through Steam's Playtest feature instead of updating through any previous delivery method. We do not have news on how long before launch exactly you will be able to download quite yet.
@Harriso24189094 No, the Open Beta will be part of the Steam Playtest functionality and will not use any of the previous testing applications. You will need to request access to the Open Beta client through the Steam Playtest tool, on the New World Steam page.
@Oscar_Critt There is no way to upgrade from one version to the other, you will need to refund on the platform you purchased and then place a Pre-order for the version of the game you want.

@OfficialE700 There is no native controller support currently planned for New World. We do, however, encourage you to try the Steam controller support if you wish to play with a controller.

@xsanse There is no easy way to upgrade from one version to another. You will need to refund the purchase that has already been made on the platform you purchased it and then place a Pre-order for the version for the Deluxe Edition. We hope this helps!
