[2022] [Notice] Legacy World Merges for all regions - December 1st

Note: This applies only to Legacy Worlds.

Greetings Adventurers,

During the initial Fresh Start World rush, we prioritized player experience by creating additional worlds and mitigating extenuating queues. To address population shifts, we will be merging legacy worlds within US-East, US-West, Australia, and Central Europe to help support healthy world populations. As a reminder, we look into a combination of average concurrency, active characters, faction population, and more to determine which worlds should be merged.

The following worlds will be merged on 2022-12-02T07:00:00Z in your local timezone, which will require a 2.5 hour downtime for the world that’s being merged. We will also be taking down the servers that are being merged for 60 minutes 2022-11-29T07:00:00Z in your local timezone to apply special in-game messaging and blocks for events like wars and invasions.

Central Europe

• Tupia will be merging into Asgard.
• Fae will be merging into Niflheim.

US East

• Eden will be merging into Olympus.
• Themiscyra and Frislandia are merging into Heliopolis.

US West

• Aukumea will be merging into El Dorado.

Australia

* Eridu will be merging into Delos.

If you do not see your world on this list, we currently do not have any plans to merge them. However, as always, our team is monitoring all existing worlds to ensure healthy world populations.

In response to player feedback and further consideration, we have decided that we will not be merging Eridu into Delos at this time. Eridu will still be taken down for maintenance on 2022-11-29T07:00:00Z to re-enable events such as Wars and Invasions. It will not require the full downtime.
