Hello Everyone!
It’s quite amazing to look back and realise that since July this year we have released over a dozen free updates for No Man’s Sky.
NEXT[www.nomanssky.com] was our largest update ever, introducing third person play, multiplayer, massive enhancements to base building, frigate fleets, and much more. Then in October, we added the Pilgrim exocraft[www.nomanssky.com] and made a number of general improvements to exocraft - including customisation, and a new buildable summoning station. Later that same month, we released another update - The Abyss[www.nomanssky.com] - that focused on eerie underwater visuals and gameplay, adding new environments, story missions, the Nautilon submarine, and more.
We’re never quite sure what to expect when we release these updates, and the positive response from the community means so much to us. It’s an essential part of our journey to listen and respond to the voices of our most passionate players, and so a little over a month ago, we created a survey[www.nomanssky.com] inviting you to share your favourite aspects of the game with us and help us shape its future. One request that particularly stood out was the desire for stranger and more varied planets to explore.
Today, we’re very excited to be releasing our third named update for the year: Visions. This release concentrates on the planetary visuals of No Man’s Sky - adding to the variety of weird alien landscapes and the strange creatures living there, as well as the incentives for exploring these worlds.
Visions is available now, for free, for all No Man’s Sky players. We hope you enjoy this next step in the journey! Full patch notes are available here[www.nomanssky.com].
Thank you so much,
Sean
