First of all I want to give props for this amazing game. I realy enjoy the gameplay and cant wait for future updates.

After playing for a while I decided to start a nomadic play through were my settlers travel with a huge Herd of animals but realised how time consuming it is to use animals as a food source. First I thought that a menu like in df would be enough so you can directly order your animals to be slaughtered or trained for war/hunting but I think that it would be way better and fitting to the automation options of the other workshops if you could order your settlers to slaughter all animals beyond a certain limit. A further step would be to manualy exclude certain animals.

I don't know if I missed an option but the current way of ordering your villagers to kill some cows and then butchering them is no engaging gameplay. I think I saw the dev mentioning in another post that automated hunting will be added in some point in the future as well which will be awesome as well :)

Hey there! Thanks for supporting the game and giving feedback. It means a lot. :)

I 100% agree with you. I've got plans to automate butchering with room job queues. However, that will be in the update after the one I'm finishing up. Also, I've added a new diet system to this next update which should improve animal care quite a bit because you'll be able to specify diets for each race.

It's a slow development, but I'm hoping to fix up things like this as we go. Thanks again for the feedback!
