[2020] Login with deleted e-mailaddress as username

Hey everyone, I have a question that concerns my account and if I will be able to keep playing on it in the future. I used my university e-mailaddress for the account and I will be done in a few months. Since the e-mailaddress will be removed at that point, I will no longer be able to access it and I suspect that I won't be able to use that login for runescape as well.

The obvious solution here is to change the linked e-mail account ahead of time, which I just did. However, the login name for runescape is still the same, but recovering the account or changing the password will be available through the other e-mailaddress. Once my university mail will be removed, will everything keep working?

Has someone been in a similar situation and can confirm that this is enough to keep playing on the account like this?
