Will you guys still be changing the drop rate for the revenant weapons as described in the original blog?
That should still be happening yeah, apologies it appears to have been missed out but I'll ask for it to be added in with the next revision!
For discussion purposes within this thread could you remind us of the shorthand drop rate changes?
I'll have to get the details from the devs, so its most likely going to have to wait until the next blog iteration as we never actually detailed what the new rates would be in the initial design blog. Sorry!
That scepter special attack animation is incredible!
Isn't it just! We're blessed to have such great artists :D
u/JagexAyiza when do you expect the content to be live? few months from now?
It'll be before the end of this year, that's all I can say right now tho
Would the single version of bosses single+ or really single? Will pker be able to pj you off the boss, or would he need to wait until you finish kill?
They'll be in normal single-way combat, so you'd need to finish getting the kill on a boss before another player could attack you.
I don't think it's been clarified in any of the blogs so I have a question:
Will all uniques be available from both the multi/group version of the bosses and the single/solo version, including the wilderness weapon upgrades? I think rings and pets has been mentioned before but I assume the new uniques will as well since the point of them are alternatives to not force solo players into the group bosses for uniques but make the group version more profitable through more common rates/non-unique valuable drops.
Yes, the new uniques would be available from the single-way combat versions of the bosses (they'll just be rarer than the multi-way counterpart)
Sceptre animation looks like one of those dog ball flingers lmao
Cannot unsee this now lol, thanks
Honestly, I think the idea of getting a dragon pick spread across multiple skilling avenues would be cool. You get the head from volcanic, the binding from mlm (separate from gold nuggets ideally) and the handle from blast mining. It is still a huge upgrade and if people (including myself) want it I think exploring more of what the skill has to offer would be the best method for it. Then take it to one of our good ol imcamdo dwarf friends for an assembly.
Actually a pretty interesting concept! I'll see what the team think :)
