Im so skeptical about even entering info, first 2 pages: "enter an email, enter your main IGN." Like this is a phishing link gone wrong..

We'll pass on feedback about how it appears. Entering the email is entirely optional, and does not need to be related to your account whatsoever.
As for your ign, we want only the character name, not your login information.
Qualtrics makes some browser add-ons related to privacy light up like a Christmas tree.
Seems like i cannot fill in this survey, what a shame.
Interesting, which add-ons specifically? We'll pass this on.
Hey all. I want to thank you, seriously. There's been more than 10,000 of you to respond to this so far.
I want to address the feedback you're giving to. Firstly, a bit of context into why this survey is a thing and how it came about. We (as an Old School team and product) want to know more about what you think about the game, what you want, (more importantly) what you don't want, how you'd prefer to hear news, and then a few topical things like polling and graphical changes. We then worked with the Research and Strategy team to build the survey.
There's a lot of feedback about the various pieces of contact information we're asking for. In hindsight, I think we should be explaining why we're asking for it. We ask for a phone number so we can talk to you directly (it'll definitely be somebody from Jagex), and it won't ever be passed onto anybody else. Some people clearly aren't comfortable providing that, so I don't see why we shouldn't be asking for a Discord contact instead. I think the same could apply when we're asking for a contact email.
There seem to be issues with the image ranking questions, particularly on mobile. We should do better to test on multiple devices. Apologies there.
Regarding the same question, I think we should have explained what we were hoping to actually learn. It seems a lot of people were expecting something as simple as "would you mind a toggle-able HD upgrade?". Perhaps we should ask that question too, but for us it's about identifying what you think that should look like, as well as helping to see whether you think newer content (like Prif) feels Old School or not.
There was some discrepancy in the way we order answers, like when Strongly Agree is on the left for some questions, but on the right for others. Apologies again, that shouldn't happen.
Finally, we're not trying to lead you with questions in any way at all. People are mentioning about us trying to force a new skill in - answering that you're opposed to a new skill is the best way to ensure that we don't spend time designing and polling stuff like Warding. Similarly people mention the poll questions as being leading. We're asking that because in light of the recent polling discussions and controversy, the best way to ascertain how you feel about polling is to ask you honestly - like we did.
It's clear we should test the surveys more for consistency and device-performance. We should explain why we're asking for important pieces of information. We should explain why we're asking some of the questions we're asking. We should let you decide how you'd prefer to be contacted in the future.
